The St. George’s College Pre University (6th Form) programme, represents a unique opportunity for study. We recognise that students can sit Advanced Level subjects anywhere; the question is, where is BEST for YOU? We submit that the ideal place is St. George’s College.

In addition to the academics we offer a rich slate of co-curricular activities, state of the art facilities and a nurturing environment for your development.

Subjects we offer:

Students may choose from a wide variety of subjects, we do not categorize courses or students in terms of academic disciplines. Students may opt for a diverse range of courses, more suited for their careers than traditional paradigms.

In addition all students must sit Introduction to Ethics .

Entry Requirements:

  •  
    • All students must have a minimum of six (6) passes at the CSEC/GCE General/Technical proficiencies.

 

  • Students must qualify for each course they intend to sit in the Sixth Form
  • Candidates must submit:

    Proof of examination passes (grade slips and certificates)
    Proof of Age (birth certificates)
    Passport sized photograph

  • Non St.G.C. graduates must submit a comprehensive recommendation from their former school (Guidance Counsellor, Grade Supervisor/Coordinator, Vice Principal or Principal)

 

All requisite documents must be submitted with the application for full consideration.

When will Applications Open?

The application process opens the 2nd to 3rd week in August (when the CSEC results become available)

Candidates will need to bring requisite documents and complete an application form.

What happens if I download the application from the website?
The procedure remains the same, candidates must submit the completed form, application form and the requisite documents

Application fee $500.00

A new champion will be crowned in the KFC/ISSA National Schools U-19 Basketball Championship when St George's College meet Herbert Morrison in the final this afternoon at the National Stadium Courts, starting at 5 o'clock.

 

The U-16 final between Ardenne and Jamaica College (JC) will precede the aforementioned match-up at 3:00 pm.
St George's and Herbert Morrison scored contrasting semi-final wins to advance to the grand finale. St George's brushed aside western champions Cornwall College, 104-51, while Herbert Morrison scored a nailbiting 71-69 win over Wolmer's Boys' to claim their berth.
